My take:
After two days of complete denial, the mullahs' regime is utterly weakened & desperate to close the case.

#Iran's Armed Forces claim the plane was heading toward a sensitive IRGC site at an altitude & in the shape of a hostile aircraft.

@no_itsmyturn As correctly reminded by @dustave, while #Iran's regime claims the #PS752's flight path was heading toward a sensitive IRGC site, four other flights had taken the same path from midnight local time prior to PS752's departure at 6:12am local time.
