1) CBP Officers seized over $2M of meth, fentanyl, heroin, hash oil in three separate seizures at the Arizona/Mexico border this week. In the first seizure, officers at the Port of Lukeville conducted a secondary inspection of an RV driven by two Phoenix residents attempting to 
2) enter the U.S. from Mexico. Officers found 465 pounds of meth, 2 pounds of heroin, nearly 3 pounds of fentanyl & 51 pounds of hash oil. On the same day, CBP officers working the Port of Sasabe conducted a secondary inspection of Chevy truck occupied by two Mexican nationals
3) attempting to enter the U.S. Officers discovered 115 pounds of methamphetamine. Later in the day, officers assigned to the Port of San Luis seized an additional 21 pounds of meth during an inspection of a Ford truck driven by a U.S. citizen residing in San Luis, Mexico.
4) The three seizures produced 601 pounds of meth, 2 pounds of heroin, nearly 3 pounds of fentanyl and 51 pounds of hash oil with a total estimated street value of over $2M. cbp.gov/newsroom/local…

6) According to a recent study released in late 2019 by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, meth is responsible for most overdose deaths in the majority of states west of the Mississippi--fentanyl for those states in the east

7) Some additional information--For some time now, the Sinaloa Cartel based in Culiacán, Sinaloa & the surrounding municipalities have stepped up the production of Super Meth & Fentanyl Labs. They are mass-producing large loads of product & sending it north to the U.S. drug
8) market via hidden compartments in commercial or private vehicles. They along with the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) are responsible for most large shipments of illicit product being distributed in the U.S. leading to record-breaking deaths by opiate-based products &
9) meth. Something to consider when/if certain cartels deserve a terrorist designation, remember—POTUS campaigned on America first, we must protect our citizens first and if Mexico wants help then we help them---IMHO based on a long career working Mexican Drug Cartels up close
