I'm kicking off in Victoria Park, off Newhaven Road. This was once called Raimes Park, owned by businessman Richard Raimes. Queen's Park and Clydesdale kicked started association football in Edinburgh, playing an exhibition match here in December 1873.

One item in the #MuellerReport that seems to have largely escaped attention is the fact that Donald Trump Jr. committed a crime--specifically, he violated the computer fraud and abuse act. It appears that he wasn't charged only because of prosecutorial discretion. A few thoughts:
Although the report recounts the facts that would support a criminal charge under the CFAA, it redacts Don Jr's name from the legal analysis for "personal privacy" reasons. Here are the relevant facts:

I keep thinking back to a discussion a few months on reddit about THE BELGARIAD. Several comments were made about it being cliche and pedestrian, and someone said, “Yeah, it’s a fine story, but it’s never going to be a classic.”
And all I could think to respond was, “It’s over thirty years later and we’re still talking about it. How is that NOT ‘a classic’?
But that got me thinking- I cite THE BELGARIAD (and THE MALLOREON, its sequel series) as one of my influential works. But what is that influence? I know I’ve read the whole series several times. My copies of the books are in terrible shape.
