NEWS: McConnell’s impeachment procedures resolution, obtained by @politico, allows:

—24 hours (but no more than 2 trial days) per side for opening arguments
—16 hours for senators’ questioning
—4-hour debate, then a vote, on whether to consider witnesses or new info
@politico *If* witnesses are called, they must first be deposed — “and the Senate shall decide after deposition which witnesses shall testify.”
