We're really throwing everything at this. For myself, it is by far the most substantial and intellectually demanding piece of work I've ever done. It has basically owned my life for two years.
For the publisher, they are going all out on PR, marketing, on doing something different and meaningful for pre-orders, and on making it a beautiful product in its own right.
That's partly because we think there's a market for it - of course it is. You don't do this stuff unless you think it can work.
But it's also because everyone involved in this book really believes in it, and in the requirement that it exists right now, to help deal with what we're facing.
To give people a sense of why they have the convictions they do, what they're grounded in and how they can fight back.
OK, right, *now* I'm getting back to it.
