And so busy doing that, they don't seem to have any plan, or even basic understanding, of the trade talks coming our way.
I was once eating dinner on the street in Soho when a bloke, completely off his tits, climbed to the top of a parked fire engine, shouted "I'm king of the world", and then promptly fell off face-first onto the pavement. That's basically the govt right now.
The coins thing does matter though. Coins are universal. A part of the state which applies to all. By stamping their rub-your-face-in-it Brexit celebrations on them, the government makes something clear. It does not rule for all. It rules for its tribal base.
That's unusual. Back in the day, whether you voted for them or not, both parties at least attempted to show that they ruled for all. Now, neither does. If you're a Remainer, this govt will go out it's way on pointless little pranks to make you feel shit.
