The two colleges were closed on issues related to licence, not meeting @TVETAKenya requirements & compliance.
@TVETKenya has clearly and professionally published the facts about the closure of the two colleges in Eastleigh.
The official statement on their page is saying Atlas college preached the terms & the conditions of the licence by offering extra courses...
Correct: This is about compliance in meeting certain requirements, ensure enough capacity and quality education are offered in those institutions.
Dr. Langat from @TVETAKenya said "we have closed the college(Alison) until it registered by law".
We urged #Alisoncollege to present their Reg. documents to the authorities as soon as possible
we can't accept you to operate without registration and to expose students to police harrassment
If they don't have Kenya National IDs then they either have refugees IDs or passports.
Sisi tunamjua nini inamaanisha Valid ID tukiwa Eastleigh.
We are asking the authorities for the release of those innocent student.
#To be a student of a good art is not a criminal.
1. We ask the DCI to investigate the matter and brought to justice the unethical journalists who are branding certain community, discriminating, and promoting hatred among the people through disinformation and fake news.
3. @TVETAKenya & @DCI_Kenya to investigate the matter of the two colleges ensure they are properly registered to operate.
This shouldn't be isolated to Eastleigh or the 2 colleges, it has to be across the board. It shouldn't be seen as if @TVETAKenya is been used competitors.
