I just read some Republican response to Schiff's presentation, and the most common response I saw was this:

"The part Schiff left out was that Sondland testified that Trump said there was no quid pro quo."

I think that's the level we can expect.

Look at it this way. With a straight face they can say both of these things:

🔹All the evidence is hearsay!
🔹Trump has the right to prevent his advisors from testifying!

(They're also misrepresenting the law regarding hearsay, but I'm out of room in this tweet to explain)
