*Everyone knows* these two Trump legal advisers are at the very *heart* of the Ukraine scandal, yet no one is talking about serving them with subpoenas, indicting them, or otherwise messing with them. What's the deal? America wants to hear from JOE DIGENOVA and VICTORIA TOENSING.
PS/ However dirty a lawyer you think Giuliani is, add 57% and you've got Toensing and diGenova. These two have been trying to steal elections since before it was cool, and arguably had an *indispensible* role in trying to blackmail Jim Comey into reopening the Clinton email case.
PS2/ There is hardly a Republican dirty trick—GOP-speak for "election felony"—diGenova and Toensing haven't been linked to in the last few election cycles, and yet, while Roger Stone faces prison time, these two are—what—sunning themselves in Turks and Caicos? Sipping margaritas?

OK, so... a note about crime. The witness you should want is the unscrupulous grunt... not the higher-up who floats above much of it.

You want: JOE DIGENOVA and VICTORIA TOENSING.
@maddow @chrislhayes PS/ It's amazing—repeat AMAZING—that diGenova and Toensing haven't been (metaphorically speaking only) dragged out of the driver's side windows of their respective cars and into the hot seat of a House committee hearing. These are hardened criminals who know where the bodies are.
@maddow @chrislhayes PS2/ If America knew about the BLT Prime Team, and Firtash, and everything in Vienna, and all the texts diGenova and Toensing sent, they'd know that while Pompeo and Bolton come into this story in big ways from time to time, diGenova and Toensing are *always* at the middle of it.

Our biggest loss in the Trump presidency is something no one wants to talk about: the hope of a generation of young Americans, who now see our politics revealed in all its ugliness as a place where people who believe in nothing, not even themselves, cling like death to their jobs
I hope that when we're all gone historians somehow find a way to register in their records that it was a discrete aim of the Republican Party at the start of the 21st century to destroy the hope of any American who believes that government service and communal action can be noble
I've been tasked by courts in multiple jurisdictions with representing thousands of defendants charged in some cases with truly heinous crimes, and nevertheless I can think of few crimes worse then the cynicism of someone like Joni Ernst trying to kill the hope of young optimists

To think that you could go to your country’s consulate to get paperwork for an upcoming wedding and be killed and dismembered because of your writing is horrific. It’s evil. And to know that the regime responsible for that has a best friend in the most powerful country in earth!
