How impactful can it be?

Joining the #BFSC at @lsu literally helped change the course of my dissertation & helped me remain in higher ed when I was ready to completely walk away from it.

What did my dissertation find?

In part that the ability to connect with other Black #SApros on campus in safe spaces helps retain them at PWIs.

Another awesome initiative from the Black-Faculty Staff Council at @McNeese is their Bridge The Gap Fund for students who just need a little extra help staying enrolled or graduating.
