The mainstream media has spent the week pushing the notion that Trump has a magic wand, Barr has a magic wand, and they're "going to get away with it all." The media is manipulating the anxiety you feel about the upcoming acquittal, even though it'll have zero impact on anything.
Why does the mainstream media do this to you? RATINGS. There are no other factors involved. The media isn't pro-Trump or anti-Trump. The media is pro-ratings, pro-money, pro-profit. And you're the product. Stop letting yourself be manipulated by this nonsense.
Trump's acquittal will have literally zero impact. It won't cause his pathetic approval rating to go up. It won't magically make him more powerful in any of the vague unspecified ways that the media keeps ominously hinting at. It's just another brick in the wall of his downfall.

If you give into this manipulation and you spend all day watching the doomsday histrionics on MSNBC and CNN between now ad November, instead of getting out and doing the work of getting a democratic president elected, then you will have unwittingly betrayed your country.
You can be an optimist or a pessimist, whatever, so long as your view is compatible with the available evidence and logic and facts. But fatalism is psychological disorder – and it's both toxic and contagious. The fatalists are the most dangerous enemy we have.
