Please stop comparing this character from Train to Busan to Filipinos now for closing its doors to China. (a thread)
Una, “Mayaman” ang karakter niya dahil may dahilan. Greed, money, and selfishness. Yan ang karakter na iprinesenta sa kaniya. While humanity is important, let’s not forget na it’s also human to be selfish, especially on things that is concerning our “family” and “loved ones”
Bakit, ano bang dahilan nung karakter sa Train to Busan para manatiling buhay? Pera. Kapangyarihan.
Don’t get this thread wrong. Filipinos are not selfish, and we are not hating the Chinese people. Travel ban is a public health measure.
China, The Ph Government is not the people of China.

And oh, the irony of using history for convenience (black death, etc) while we shamelessly forget our own history and dismiss it as “fake” lol you are citing the same accounts from historians. So paano? Haha wala bang bagong “untold” history sa facebook or youtube?
Atsaka ano bang klaseng guilt trip yan na humanity is dead emerut.
And we’re not letting them die helpless. Their government can take care of them. Nakagawa nga sila bagong ospital after ilang days. Tayo ba? The battle for recovery after getting the virus starts with proper and top tier medical care. Do we have that FOR FREE? No.
At kung tayo ang nasa posisyon nila, they will also close their countries for us BUT since they know that we can’t afford to survive it on our own, ofcourse, magkakaroon ng aid. That’s the thing. Maiiwan mahihirap.
