Bernie fans really playing the "it's a two person race" card when there hasn't been one vote cast yet. They're really so brand new to party politics they think the winner of Iowa takes it all?
Course, they were saying the same thing back in September of last year, bombing people's threads who were talking about Warren to say they were handing the nomination to Biden "because it's got to be Biden or Bernie."
If it does come to those two... if they are the only candidates left when my state votes... I would probably vote for Bernie in the primary but also be ready for candidate Biden.

Things could change, but right now, Bernie doesn't have the support he needs to win.
And I don't see him getting it. Not unless he wakes up and his worst fans wake up more.

If true, this is interesting to consider along with the anecdotes of caucusers for other candidates being alienated by the "passion" and "intensity" of his supporters... and the self-identified Bernie fans on Twitter openly proclaiming they want fealty, not a coalition.
My preference for Warren over Sanders is not based on platform differences but because I doubt his ability to get things done in Congress. This kind of thing... does not reassure me.
Which is also why I'm sick of "if you care about the working class..."

I believe Bernie cares about the working class, sure.

I believe Warren is more likely to do something for the working class.

If Adam Schiff had actually lied about the things Donald Trump routinely claims he did, Schiff would already have been metaphorically nailed to a wall.

But he hasn't, so Trump will do nothing unless and until he feels cocky enough to literally nail him to a wall.
He'll sit there, Trump will, and say that the Democrats lied and cheated and they're the real criminals, while his tame justice department, his goon squad, does nothing because the law still requires more than the liar-in-chief's say so, thank goodness.
He won't actually go after Schiff in any real way until the day comes that he's feeling himself enough to decide the law isn't the law anymore. There may be threats and trial balloons along the way, but nothing even as simple as a lawsuit before then.

Isn't it weird how much less flak the GOP gets for invoking Communism/Socialism against Democrats? No one in the middle ever goes "You call evening you disagree with socialism!"
People: We need solutions to these problems.

Democrats: We offer solutions.

People: These ideas appeal to us. We are in favor of them.

Republicans: Have you considered that these ideas are Godless Communism that will destroy our country?

People: Yikes. Don't like that.
When we talk about the right wing march towards fascism we hear how both parties are good people who want what's best and disagree about that is.

When Rs call us lawless anti-American babykillers, the same people act like *that* is a policy disagreement.

Ignore the polls and get out there and #Vote on November 6th. Relying on polling is a relic of a time gone by.
I’m not saying looking at @FiveThirtyEight’s model and charts and stuff isn’t cool, because it is and provides some insight. But no matter what the numbers say, it’s most certainly NEVER an excuse to not #Vote because you feel your peeps are a “lock”
Need nothing further than to point to 2016. Which by the way, @FiveThirtyEight didn’t really have wrong, but the “selected not elected” mindset existed before 2016. Why else would over 100 million people choose NOT to participate in their civic duty to choose their leaders.
