incidentally, I picked this up recently but never tried it, I guess now's the time: TV Game Kentei, a 2008 DS game from Namco based on Namco's FC catalogue that's halfway between Brain Age and WarioWare
I guess it's more like NES Remix, come to think of it—the way it works is it gives you groups of mini-challenges takes from Namco FC games, sorted by genre, then at the end it grades and quizzes you to determine your "gaming age"
there are also a bunch of Idolmaster characters hanging out, they're the ones quizzing you iirc and they each have their own unique minigames, I wanna say one's a Wizardry-esque wireframe dungeon crawler
btw I did look up the developer, I've already forgotten who they were but they were some obscure contractor who didn't look to have done much before or since, it wasn't indieszero or anyone you might expect
