Iowa Democratic Party can say confidently there was no hacking, but how can we know it?
Was their penetration testing on the reporting server? Was there a code audit? Do we know that the phones used weren’t compromised?

5/ The bottom is line: This kind of incompetence with technology is as big a threat to our democracy that exists.
We have no laws requiring best practices. We have no oversight. And until we do, the only sane choice is to STICK TO PAPER AND PHONES.
