Paul visited Jesus Movement leaders in Jerusalem. It didn't go well. Paul hit the road, taking a Jewish movement far outside the bounds of Judea.

Yes, #circumcision played a pivotal role in the development of #Christianity as distinct from #Jesus's own #Judaism. Paul didn't demand that people adopt all the practices of Jesus's Jewish faith before converting.
Tho a Jew himself, Paul mostly taught & organized non-Jews. He adapted the message to a Greco-Roman worldview. For ex., the blood & body language in the Last Supper comes not from eyewitnesses, but Paul, who said he saw it in a vision.
