For context, we exported £273 billion in goods and services to the EU, so those cabbages and other vegetables are 1/19927th of the total (and that's for the entire world, not merely the EU).
Ok, the crazy doesn't stop there...
The EU can export cabbages to Malaysia with a 0% tariff because there's a quota in place.
Without that agreed quota, they'd incur a tariff of 90%.
I presume the holdup was Malaysia saying "er, about that quota?!"

Unless we negotiate our own arrangement with Malaysia, I believe that 90% tariff is what our cabbages will attract from 1 January 2021.
