Trump’s followers either don’t care or don’t believe that: he lies all the time, he cheats, he solicits foreign interference in our elections, he believes he’s above the law, he abuses the powers of his office, he shits all over the Constitution, he obstructs justice, 3/
he attacks free speech and the free press, he’s corrupt, he’s incapable of putting the country’s interests before his own, he’s increased the debt & deficits, he’s killed American farmers & manufacturers, and that he’s cruel and indecent. 4/
Most Republican voters don’t believe or don’t care about any of that. All they care about is protecting their dear leader. At all costs. That’s just the way it is. That’s what I ran head-first into. So I got out. Because I want to stop Trump. 5/
And he can’t be stopped within today’s Republican Party. Which is clearly no longer my party. So I’ll have to do what I can to stop him in November. 6/
