The family of Rina Schnerb is disgusted by an @AP article that was run yesterday by @TimesofIsrael. The article alleges 🇮🇱 tortured the terrorists indicted for murdering Rina. Shamefully, much of the article lacked any corroboration & suffered from other fundamental flaws.

First and foremost, despite the length of the article, the authors never once mentioned the connection between Addameer, the organization making most of the claims, & the PFLP terror org. whose members are charged with the murder of Rina.

They never mentioned that Sameer Arbid, the bomb maker, worked for Addameer. They never mentioned that Khalida Jarar, previously convicted for membership in the PFLP and now indicted for running the PFLP, was the VP of Addameer.

Manipulatively, the article says that Israel arrested "politicians" implying that the arrests were politically motivated. They did not clarify that they meant Jarar, who was not arrested for being a "politician" but rather for being a TERRORIST.

The article itself further lacked any credibility, as Addameer refused to provide proof of the claims of torture "citing privacy laws". That lame answer means that the whole article is just based on unsubstantiated claims of an org. that has close ties with the terrorists.

Another example of the substandard reporting in the article was that it consistently referred to one of the PFLP terrorists as “Qassem Barghouti”. The name of the terrorist accused of the murder of Rina, with others, is Qassem Shibli.

It's sadly representative of the foreign press to echo unfounded claims of terrorists against democratic 🇮🇱, while ignoring the suffering of the Jewish victims & their families & the fact that the PA pays these terrorist murderers monthly salaries just for murdering Jews.
