The media silence is a scandal of its own.
No US outlets seem interested in leaks that show OPCW manipulated a chemical weapons probe under US pressure, helping retroactively justify US strikes on Syria.

Would it help if I noted this occurred under TRUMP? That TRUMP was the US president under whom this scandal occurred?

Bellingcat has uploaded a new policy plan that deletes a claim that it "partners" & "has collaborated with" the OPCW. It appears claim was uploaded in 09/2019, but @EliotHiggins says error wasn't noticed until now & denies collaborating w/ OPCW.
@EliotHiggins Higgins has previously declined to say whether BC was a source for Douma report. Worth noting that this denial comes after the leak of OPCW official Ian Henderson's UN testimony, which recounts how OPCW relied on outside experts & suppressed his report. thegrayzone.com/2020/02/11/new…

Henderson offers the most extensive account of the internal dispute over the OPCW’s Douma investigation to date. It is an extraordinary tale of experts struggling to have their evidence heard in the face of bullying superiors acting to reach a pre-determined, false conclusion.
