Bloomberg backed Scott Brown in 2012.

Bloomberg gave $250K to Lindsey Graham's PAC in 2014.

Bloomberg spent $12M helping Pat Toomey in 2016.

Bloomberg has a history of supporting GOP Senators. He can't be counted on to help Democrats flip the Senate blue.
This is one of the most crucial aspects of picking a Dem nominee. Who will excite people AND work well with the party to help take back Senate majority? Elizabeth Warren. She spent the last decade lifting up Democratic candidates for the Senate, especially women ones. Examples:
Warren supporting Tammy Duckworth chicagotribune.com/politics/ct-ta…
Warren supporting Maggie Hassan bostonglobe.com/news/politics/…
Warren supporting Catherine Cortez Masto kolotv.com/content/news/E…
Warren supporting Kamala Harris
In 2018, Warren felt she had her own race in the bag so she raised $11M for down-ballot Democrats and campaigned all across the country for them.
Can other candidates be effective surrogates? Sure. But we've already seen Warren do it exceptionally well. Taking back the Senate from McConnell is just as crucial as taking back the White House from Trump. We need a proven campaigner atop the ticket to help us accomplish it.
Relevant: In 2018, Biden got paid $200K to give a speech in Michigan, where he praised Republican Rep. Fred Upton three weeks before Election Day. Upton won by only 13K votes. nytimes.com/2019/01/23/us/…
Warren also stumped for Katie McGinty, the Democrat Bloomberg’s money helped defeat. McGinty only lost by 1.5%. Unlike Toomey, she definitely would’ve voted against Kavanaugh! pittnews.com/article/112749…
