EU citizens make up 5% of the UK population and 10% of our doctors. i.e. #Immigration literally keeps us alive.

If you were a german Doctor and could choose to live anywhere in Europe, would you choose the country that just gave a huge middle finger to you and everyone like you?

The "I don't see colour/race" lot always remind me of a quote by that great philosopher Rachel Karen Green in response to when Ross says he doesn't think of money as an issue:
"That's because you have it!"
He's arguing that racism still exists mainly because the Right and Left talk about race, and that by not doing so, he's creating a post-racial society.

So by definition, he's aware that if you take yourself out of the discussion, (bury head in sand) racists will still be there.
And what's truly incredible (read: borderline disgusting) is that he repeatedly used Martin Luther King to justify pretending race doesn't exist: ⬇️

Racism in the UK can largely be blamed on the absence of empire in the school curriculum.

If every child knew that Western economic dominance came from the theft, murder, colonisation and enslavement of people in countries 'we' look down on, it would fix a lot.

If the only history you ever learn is about our military and industrial triumphs, and the evils of foreign regimes, you're going to become the sort of person who thinks 27 countries need yours more than your country needs 27, and your country owes nobody anything.

To be fair he's a victim of a media bias. In America what's the profile of the shooter in almost all indiscriminate mass killings?
Yet the media says radical Islam is the main national security threat.
Go on. Tell me the constant US mass shootings aren't terrorism because it's not always rooted in politics/religion.

They happen due to America's 2nd amendment, a practically ancient text which, despite a legacy that's drenched in blood, is still treated as holy. That's religion.
To clarify, Michael O'Leary was talking about profiling Muslim men at airports and putting them through comparatively more stringent security checks.
Profiling only makes divisions in society worse, strengthening "Us vs Them", making EVERYONE less safe.

Settled Status - we EU citizens must get physical documents.

The Home Office is saying online is simpler, online is the future.

Compare and contrast the process employers will have to go through to check status of EU citizens.

Make up your own mind.

New data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics shows a dramatic spike in federal arrests of non-citizens compared to citizens.

1998—63% of all federal arrests were of U.S. citizens
2018—64% of all federal arrests were of non-U.S. citizens.
U.S. federal arrests in 2018

- 78,062 Mexican citizens
- 70,542 United States citizens

While non-U.S. citizens make up 7% of the population in 2018 they committed:

—24% of all federal drug arrests and
—25% of all federal property arrests

We know the EU isn't perfect. Out of our 4 co-founders: Will voted Leave and Femi has literally worked for a group called Alter-EU.
But here's why, on balance, being in the EU is better for you.
You need stuff to be as cheap as possible. Well for the UK as a country, the rest of Europe is our local supermarket. It's cheaper and faster for us to get stuff from there. Being in the EU makes it even cheaper and even faster. So your prices stay low.
You have the right to live in any country you like across the EU. So if there aren't jobs in the UK, you can go work in a hotel in France or an office in Austria. No elitist visa system. As long as you find a job in 3months and register, 31 countries are yours to choose from.
