The Hill made John Solomon an "opinion contributor" over internal concerns that his work lacked rigor -- then discovered that because his columns still *looked* like news stories, this "blurred the distinction between news and opinion in the minds of some readers." Whoops!

The Hill seems to have produced a pretty clear-eyed review of the systemic failures that allowed it to play a key role in a massive disinformation campaign. Bad on them for needing to do it, but good on them for doing it. Meanwhile...
