I love covering @SDNYLIVE and increasingly try not to complain, but... I'm here covering Magistrates Court at 7:30 pm. A defendant is presented, no docket number given. I go next door and ask for docket number; I'm told that after 5 pm, no info is given. Thread
I come back into courtroom and ask Judge's deputy. Still not given. AUSA says he's filling in, doesn't name for whom. A future court date is alluded to, but it's not in PACER. This defendant is charged with money laundering; untransparent. But wait, there's more

The status of Tibetans is uncertain, as Nepal has never signed the Geneva Convention and Protocol on refugees. In the past, some refugees have been stopped at the border, and under Chinese pressure the police has prevented anti-CCP demonstrations to be organized in Kathmandu.
Nepal's attitude is not enough for the CCP. They want the Tibetan refugees deported to China, starting with those who tell to international media the story of the atrocities they suffered in Tibet. Chinese media & pro-CCP Nepalese media started to claim they are “false refugees.”

Pakistan formally called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss India revoking the special status to Jammu and Kashmir, foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi recently said.
The diplomat said that China also submitted a formal request for such a meeting but Poland has to consult and take into account preferences of other Council members before deciding on time and date for the meeting.
