Because there is no contract, healthcare decisions are being made solely by politicians & not #healthcare practitioners. A torn up contract means there are no limits on what conditions the Minister can put in place for doctors, clinics & patients. @shandro @jkenney 2/6

Physicians who wish to leave #Alberta will have lots of options! Other provinces recognize the coming challenge with #physiciansupply, given the aging demographics & growing needs of Canadians. They have removed practice restrictions or never had them in first place. 4/6 @jkenney
Other provinces also recognize the value of bringing #youngphysicians in as a means to promote #diversity and continual renewal of #medicalknowledge. The @yourAlberta proposals work directly counter to this. 5/6
