Is that 50% with or without 4C of global heating?
There's a blinkered narrative that extrapolates current medi-tech advances into the future, and assumes they translate into rising life expectancy, regardless of the social and environmental forces in the real world.

- a habitable planet
- a good distribution of wealth
- good and improving nutrition
- and the belief that there will still be some bloody point to living that long
