BUT: this means that when purge case is appealed State Supreme Court, Trump-endorsed/Walker-appointed Dan Kelly can cast tie-breaking vote to purge the voters—UNLESS, if timing works, we beat him on April 7.

Last year, while I was running for @WisDems chair, I knocked on doors for Lisa Neubauer, who was running for Supreme Court to defeat a similar GOP operative. She was ahead. But the GOP flooded in $1.4m in dark money in the final week and won by 0.4%. This time, we’ll be ready.

The GOP feel money group bragged publicly about how they did it last year. They stakes are even higher this year—so we expect all they did last time, and much more. But—there’s a major difference between last year and this one...

This year, we have a crucial advantage: April 7 isn’t just the Supreme Court race. It’s also the date of our presidential primary.

The GOP, utterly beholden to Trump, refused to put anyone else’s name on the ballot. But we’re likely to have a real race still on our side.

Because Wisconsin is likely to have far higher Democratic turnout in its competitive presidential primary on April 7 than the GOP will in its non-primary, our job is clear: make sure every Dem knows Dan Kelly is Donald Trump’s stooge, and that it’s time to vote Jill for Justice.

The GOP will no doubt try to muddy the waters, to poison the public’s mind, to pump out propaganda against the actually pro-justice candidate for Justice that they fear. But you, you reading this, can help make sure the GOP effort fails.

Certainly, you should sign up to volunteer for Jill Karofsky (at her website or via wisdems.org/volunteer), and chip in. And there’s another critical thing you can do: spread the word, now through April 7, that anyone voting Dem should vote #JillForJustice. Your tweets matter!
