How can my business generate sales online often? Nothing I do works anymore!

This was the most asked question I got after my lecture at @SMEbyTechpoint event, hosted by @techpointdotng.

The other was ‘how do I convert traffic to contact information and sales?’

A THREAD? Yup!

Generating consistent sales online, requires 3 important components to be present. They are;

Traffic
The offer and
Content.

Are you showcasing your offer in places where people gather in large numbers?

Social media, gossip blogs, TV, Radio are some of such places

Any business serious about sales must exploit a minimum of 2 of such places but it should not stop there.

The next step will be to identify the people who want/need your offer. This is the part where you must convert that traffic to a tangible outcome in your business!

For business owners, this means getting an outright sale.
The ugly truth is, not everyone is at the decision stage of the buying process.

The buying process is the journey consumers go through to become aware of, evaluate and eventually purchase a product or service.

How can businesses successfully move potential customers/clients along the buying process?

These 2 components determine how successful your business will be selling online

So how do you request for your potential customer/client’s contact information?

Your business present them with a lead generation offer.

What is a lead generation offer? It is valuable information you give your potential customer/client in exchange for their contact information

With this approach, your businesses can drastically reduce objections about your product/service.

And once you have their contact information, you can begin conversations to move them to the next stage in the buying process.

Content is creating, publishing and distributing information that moves a prospective customer/client along the buying process
