I apparently touched a sensitive nerve as my remarks in a recent @tabletmag article has rendered a frenzy among #Iran apologists/lobbyists.
Why are they so concerned?
The article sheds light on their modus operandi:
hashtad-beest, or “80/20”

A slate of Iran apologists/lobbyists are now voicing deep concerns and resorting to an old & already debunked lie.
@hdagres
@MazMHussain
@bbckalbasi (who RTd Hussain’s tweet & then cancelled it)
@barbaraslavin1
Dagres & Hussain cite an Intercept hit piece against me that was debunked quite easily.

Looking at the tweets by Dagres & Hussain, I’m not surprised to see likes from other Iran apologists/lobbyists:
@DEsfandiary
@Lghara93
@ntabrizy
Why do I describe these mentioned individuals – many being “reporters” – as Iran apologists/lobbyists?
Listen to the words of a former Iranian intelligence minister explaining how Tehran uses “reporters” in the West.
I invite everyone to read this excellent & in-depth Tablet Magazine article by @TherouxPeter.

It is clear that mentioning the “hashtad beest 80/20” modus operandi of Iran apologists/lobbyists has touched a very sensitive nerve.
And their counterargument? They have none & just resort to already debunked lies.
I feel sorry for them as they’re making me even stronger.
