I strongly feel the government should have banned public gatherings by now. It's pretty shocking that organisers have been left to decide these things for themselves, and to take the hit when they do the right thing.

It's hard, I know, for people who have organised events to cancel them at late notice . But when the government fails to take responsibility, we have a duty to each other to step up.
