WHAT IS "ETHNIC"? Ethnicity was started as a concept that meant "non-European". Stupid Indians have adopted this term as though they are Whites. Please see this:

Many years ago, I argued that if cuisines from India, China, Japan, Middle East, etc. are "ethnic" then why not also Italian, French, etc?
If Indian music in US academics is officially classified as ETHNO-MUSICOLOGY, then are Mozart & Beethoven "German Ethnic Music"?

Eventually, many who considered themselves "liberal" and "post-colonial" scholars loved this reversing the gaze.
But inferiority-complexed Indians, craving to become white by adopting a type of gaze, love to differentiate themselves from "those ethnic Indians".
