Gorsuch’s friend Philip Anschutz gave $500,000 to a McConnell-affiliated Super PAC one day before McConnell shut down Garland’s nomination, and $250,000 one month before Elaine Chao—who’s communicating with the PAC’s CEO—had dinner with Cornyn and Gorsuch.

Chao’s dinner with Gorsuch and Cornyn occurred after Trump was informed of Kennedy’s retirement, but before it was announced publicly. Kavanaugh was Staff Secretary when Bush received the letter from Anschutz that put Gorsuch on the Tenth Circuit.

If Kavanaugh, as Staff Secretary, had responsibilities for vetting Gorsuch for the Tenth Circuit, that info was hidden through “executive privilege.”

Mostly unnoticed: Blackstone’s David Calhoun was recently named President and CEO of The Boeing Company. Elaine Chao, who oversees the FAA, coincidentally has a brother in law, Jim Breyer, on Blackstone’s board of directors.
In May, Calhoun contributed the maximum permissible amount to Mitch McConnell’s authorized campaign committee.

In September 2018, Boeing’s corporate PAC contributed $250,000 to McConnell-affiliated Senate Leadership Fund.

The @USPBGC insures worker pensions, and its multi-employer program is currently $67 billion in debt and on track to insolvency. You’d think the White House could’ve at least bothered to put down a job title for this guy.
