Many have woken up to the dangers. I will stop tweeting about Coronavirus and economy. Instead, I will concentrate on important spiritual needs. First, contrition, sorrow, and sin. We need to realize we are at fault. OUR money caused this. We made China. We used them as slaves.
We individually are responsible. There is no scientific proof of this. We have to use reason to show how we are at fault. "plausible deniability" works with some people, but not with the Creator. Our money caused the slave globalization. Our money made Coronavirus spread.
If anyone else can chime in on this conversation about our faults here or on Facebook, or has links, please do. It is time to be brutally honest.
Part of this conversation is about doing penance and fasting and calling out to God, it is true, but first of all we need to take responsibility for what we are doing wrong, even if we feel powerless to change it.
I saw something to illustrate this recently:
a python was squeezing a cobra to death. The cobra was biting the python to kill it. They both died. Both were following their instincts. We are the same. We say "but we need savings to retire!" and the Chinese say "but we need to work to survive!" Both are killing each other.
This is an illustration of what happens in the world, and the kind of contrition we should have. Even if it seems inevitable and uncontrollable, we should admit our faults. ...
We "save" money by putting it in pension plans and 401Ks. Those plans "invest" in companies that have to sell for the lowest price. They "have" to buy goods from China, which uses slave labor.
China "has" to bring people in from the countryside to work in factories. They "have" to live densely packed together. They visit their families in the country on tranitional holidays, where the bats have many viruses, and then bring the virus back to the cities.
The virus spreads rapidly, killing many Chinese. Chinese who live abroad come back to China as well, by tradition. They bring the virus back to where they are working in Washington State, Italy, Iran, Canada, and elsewhere. Then people who were "saving" money are infected.
Each person in the chain is at fault, equally. Like the cobra and the python, they end up killing each other just trying to survive.
Someone might object that it is the "new world order" or "globalism" or the "elite" that are at fault. That might be a small part of the problem, but it avoids our personal responsibility as ordinary Americans, ordinary Chinese just trying to provide for our families.
Some might object that they don't have a pension or 401K or savings so they are not at fault. Maybe less, but we all look for the lowest cost for things we buy. If we don't buy or sell anything, and have nothing, we still pay taxes. Our taxes are used for the same sorrowful ends.
