It’s with a heavy heart that I post this.

Ralph, our dear friend, Holocaust survivor and the primary subject of the documentary we’ve been working on, died yesterday in Los Angeles, aged 94.

We are still shocked and devastated.
But we are also incredibly grateful to him, Barbara, and their family for opening their doors and trusting us. We spent an entire year working together and making plans, which allowed us to become friends.

Hearing his stories brought pain and healing at the same time.
Ralph, may your Rest in Peace. You can finally leave all the suffering behind you.

We love you and promise you that the whole world will hear your story. I'm sorry that we could not do this while you were here.

Our deepest condolences to the Hakmans during this difficult time.
