Thread: Today, the Delhi Police has filed a case for using DTC buses to carry migrant workers to Anand Vihar last week so that they could catch buses for travelling to the neighbouring state, Uttar Pradesh. I was on ground and saw the police helping migrants board these buses.
In this video, the DTC bus driver told me not to take photos/videos. But as you can see the Delhi Police allowing the bus to ply with migrant workers to Anand Vihar.

Perhaps the Centre didn't expect thousands of workers to reach the Anand Vihar bus station. It allowed UP government to ply buses (after screening of workers) but later suspended Delhi govt officials for the act. Here I write on the politics of it:
