Hi Elected Temecula Valley Unified School Board,

Since COVID-19 and school closure of 31 Temecula Valley USD schools affecting 29,000 students at many families are suffering financially, getting unemployment and can't pay rent.
Despite the national crisis, Temecula Valley USD has been using our tax payer dollars paying the firm Dannis Woliver Kelley in a federal lawsuit (March 16, March 17, March 20 and March 30 -documents are public)
pacermonitor.com/public/case/27…

The following attorneys at
Dannis Woliver Kelly are named in the document filed on March 16, 2020 (attached) in federal court in Los Angeles:
Sarah Sutherland, Esq, Shareholder - San Diego Office
Matthew J. Tamel, Esq. - San Francisco Office
Kasmire M. Brough, Esq, Special Counsel - San Francisco Office
March 16, 2020 Tim Ritter, Superintendent issued a statement
March 16, 2020 Information to Assist TVUSD Families, Students, and Staff
Dear Temecula Valley USD Community,
As previously shared, effective Monday, March 16, all Temecula Valley Unified School District schools and
programs are closed until April 5, 2020

Again, during school closure on due to COVID-19 March 17, March
20 and March 30, Temecula Valley filed in federal court using tax payer dollars in LA federal court. During a national crisis COVID-19. Temecula Valley USD is using federal resources (federal judge, paralegal, clerks) and paying the law firm Dannis Woliver Kelly.

I am
going to make public comment at at City of Temecula Council meeting about the use of the communities tax payer dollar paying law firms during COVID-19.

In addition, I am creating binders for all future TVUSD members of the community who are going to be running for school
board, in addition to community members, Riverside Board of Supervisors and Riverside County Office of Education. Other Districts have Facebook pages on the use of tax payer dollars at District.

From my personal experience, I urge all general ed families to stay away from
Temecula Valley USD because of the use of private lawyers against special education families and lack of integrity with Administration, Cabinet and long term members of the School Board. Tax payer dollars needs to go to school districts and charter schools where special
education isn't using tax payer dollar in litigation during a world wide crisis.

I tried to help one boy at TVUSD -- this exposed me to how tax payer dollar, school board, administration and private law firms at TVUSD are not supporting the best interest of individual students.
Thank you,
