I pretend to be all 32 #NFL GMs for 2 Rounds using my Big Board (🔗👇) & rough team needs.

LOTS of trades factored in. Summary of them in the thread below.

Summary of all trades in the Contested Catch "If It Were Me" Mock Draft!

1. CIN – Joe Burrow

Nothing to it other than need meets talent for the #Bengals.

2. MIA – Tua Tagovailoa

TRADE: #Dolphins move up 3 spots, take Tua + keep 1.18 and 1.26. That's a win.

#Redskins make a tough decision easier w/ nice haul in 2020 and 2021, picking up 3 total 2nds.

3. JAX – Chase Young
TRADE: #Jaguars get the 2nd best player in the #NFLDraft & can freely move Yannick Ngakuoe for a future pick in 2021.

#Lions ball out. Wait till you see this haul...

4. NYG – Isaiah Simmons

#Giants get the best player in the #NFLDraft.

5. WAS – Tristan Wirfs

#Redskins get what they need – the OT1 – plus three 2nds from #Miami in this trade back. More trades to come…

6. LAC – Jeff Okudah

#Chargers select best player available. Gratuitous but they don’t pass on chance to solidify the NFL’s best secondary & the top DEF. It gets better, too.

7. CAR – Javon Kinlaw

#Panthers grab a huge building block on the DL. Kinlaw is a stud & iDL1.

8. TB – Andrew Thomas

TRADE: #Buccaneers get protection for TB12 right away w/ NFL-ready OT2.

#Cardinals get a weapon (OJ Howard) & 14th overall.

9. DET – CJ Henderson

The beginning of the #Lions haul. CB2 off the board.

10. DEN – CeeDee Lamb

TRADE: #Broncos move up to land WR1 ahead of NYJ for modest cost.

11. NYJ – Jerry Jeudy

#Jets QB Sam Darnold gets a WR1 & a good one at that. Not concerned about the "medical red flags" *cough* smokescreen *cough*

12. LV – Kristian Fulton

#Raiders address a top need w/ 2nd best player available. Fulton is underrated and my CB3.

13. NE – Jalen Hurts

TRADE: #49ers, wanting trade back, get a solid haul to fill out the middle rounds.

The #Patriots land their franchise QB to revolutionize their Offense. This would be scary.

14. ARI – Jedrick Wills

#Cardinals land my OT3 after trading back + add a new weapon for Kyler: OJ Howard. The best of both worlds.

15. PHI – Henry Ruggs

TRADE: Here come the #Eagles, creating 1 of the best fits in the #NFLDraft by picking WR3. Wentz will love this.

There go the #Browns, again trading back.

16. ATL – Xavier McKinney

#Falcons are outbid on trade up chances, end up staying put & they land The X Factor, S1 that helps their D as a whole.

17. DAL – AJ Epenesa

#Cowboys go best player available & address a need w/ my EDGE2. AJE is a stud.

18. MIA - Mekhi Becton

#Dolphins are ecstatic to get OT4 w/ huge ceiling at 18. Becton is raw but becomes Tua’s OT for the future.

19. LV – Jalen Reagor

#Raiders address another need w/ explosive big-play threat to ignite their Offense. Great 1st round for LV.

20. DET – Derrick Brown

The second piece of #Lions trade-back haul. Good value & iDL2 fills a need. And it's not done...

21. SF – Laviska Shenault

TRADE: I know. “The #Browns can’t keep trading back.” Well they do.

#49ers form one of the best fits in the #NFLDraft jumping ahead of #Vikings by selecting WR4 #TheShenaultimateWeapon.

22. MIN – Justin Jefferson

#Vikings land their Stefon Diggs replacement w/ the high floor WR6.

23. WAS – Cesar Ruiz

TRADE: How? Trent Williams is how. #Browns & Baker get their LT & another 2nd for 1.23 and a 3rd.

#Redskins land my top iOL to solidify TW-less OL for Haskins.

24. NO – Justin Herbert

The value is fine here for the #Saints to gamble on Herbert. Brees is in the twilight of his career & will be an amazing tutor for the raw QB4.

25. MIN – Jaylon Johnson

Another 1st round pick, another #Vikings need addressed. They land some much needed help in the secondary w/ a slight reach for CB4, JayJo.

26. MIA – Denzel Mims

#Dolphins reach for Tua’s WR1 after landing their OT to solidify offensive core. Big upside with Mims but there's some risk.

27. SEA – Curtis Weaver

#Seahawks get big help at EDGE w/ good value.

28. BAL – Patrick Queen

Perfect fit for the #Ravens to get my LB2 who can really cover w/ a 4.50 40 time.

29. TEN – Yetur Gross-Matos

YGM is a high upside pick at a need for the #Titans who aren’t far away from contending.

30.GB – Josh Jones

#Packers attempt to solidify their crumbling OL during the last years of Rodgers career.

31. IND – Jordan Love

TRADE: #49ers evacuate the 1st round.

Hated to, but #Colts make Love a barely-1st rounder & get a developmental QB for the future, they hope, + a 5th year option.

32. KC – Grant Delpit

#Chiefs stay put & land good value w/ S2 to deploy like Mathieu, helping secondary & letting Honey Badger play more LB.

33. CIN – Ezra Cleveland

#Bengals get their QB & now his LT too. Great value here.

34. SF – Jordan Elliott

#49ers stop trading & plug the interior of their DL w/ iDL3 after trading DeForest Buckner.

35. JAX – Trevon Diggs

#Jaguars complete the 2nd half of their double-trade-up w/ DET, landing a new CB1 after getting EDGE1 in Young. I'd be happy.

36. ATL – AJ Terrell

TRADE: #Giants drop back, while #Falcons get a new CB1 to pair w/ McKinney, my S1 from the 1st round.

37. LAC – Kyle Dugger

#Chargers make another unfair DEF pick, landing Derwin James’ carbon copy in S3/LB Dugger. Best NFL Defense: secured.

38. CAR – Julian Okwara

#Panthers double dip at DL w/ developmental EDGE Okwara to put opposite 2019 1st Round EDGE Brian Burns.

39. WAS – Chase Claypool

#Redskins use the #Dolphins pick to address WR & TE simultaneously for QB Haskins w/ the huge speedster. OL + WR get big upgrades for this Offense.

40. SEA – Netane Muti

TRADE: #Seahawks get aggressive to take NeTank: freaky strong iOL2 to help Russ & the run.

#Texans get much needed picks to help fill plentiful holes on the roster, getting SEA's 2 late 2nds.

41. CLE – Jeremy Chinn

FINALLY. #Browns started w/ landing their LT w/ Trent Williams; next up they get a crazy athletic hybrid to help at S & coverage LB. Huge upside.

42. DET – K’Lavon Chaisson

#Lions complete their DEF makeover w/ the upside EDGE at strong value.

K’Von adds a twitched-up versatile slot CB / S hybrid who helps against the run, too. Really good player to help re-stock the secondary.

44. IND – Tee Higgins

Thought process here is simple: Their new QB Phillip Rivers did well w/ Mike Williams. #Colts draft MW 2.0 to help right away.

45. TB – Bryan Edwards

And the #Buccaneers don’t let Edwards slide. After addressing OT, the rich get richer w/ the big weapon to develop as TB’s WR3.

46. CLE – Kenneth Murray

#Browns stop Murray’s slide, stealing the best player available; defensive QB w/ 93rd %ile 40 = even more speed.

47. NYG – Matt Peart

#Giants finally pick after their 2nd round trade back & finally get an OT to protect Daniel Jones. Peart: huge, athletic, 99th %ile arms

48. NYJ – Austin Jackson

#Jets start w/ WR1, next get their OT1 for Darnold. Don’t love the value but Jackson has upside + athleticism.

49. PIT – Isaiah Wilson

‘Lers land a mammoth to prepare for future OL losses. This pick can help keep their strength, well, strong.

50. CHI – Antoine Winfield Jr.

#Bears opt for more help in the secondary w/ speedy, rangy FS to complement their first pick, K’Von Wallace.

51. DAL – Tyler Biadasz

#Cowboys address their weakened OL after injuries + retirement hit hard; nab excellent run-blocker in Biadasz.

52. LAR – Zach Baun

Welcome to the #NFLDraft. #Rams!

LA gets younger on D, picking versatile LB / EDGE at good value.

53. PHI – Jonah Jackson

#Eagles continue to fortify OL for future w/ pass-blocking interior stud Jackson. Value wasn’t there to force CB.

54. BUF – Terrell Lewis

Welcome to the #NFLDraft, #Bills!

Lewis is a high upside homerun swing by BUF to fill out EDGE w/ youth. They're on the cusp of contending with this pick, especially if it hits.

55. BAL – Robert Hunt

#Ravens try to address the hole left by retiring GOAT Yanda. Hunt has OG/OT versatility & fits their style. Love this fit.

56.CLE – Marlon Davidson

#Browns at it again: Davidson is a versatile DL that provides multi-position depth on DL.

59. HOU – Brandon Aiyuk

#Texans finally pick, drafting a much needed weapon for Deshaun at reasonable value.

60. BAL – Jonathan Taylor

C’mon, let me have a little fun!

This would be stupid good for the #Ravens run game. I’d prefer Swift objectively, but Taylor fits their style.

61. TEN – Neville Gallimore

#Titans nab iDL depth & pass-rush help on the inside to pair w/ Jeffrey Simmons. Future nightmare tandem on the DL take them one step closer to the SB.

62. GB – Michael Pittman Jr.

It was either Pittman or my TE2 Trautman for the #Packers here. Couldn’t pass up the value. More help on the way, Rodgers.

63. KC – D’Andre Swift

Just a lil more fun please 😅

I probably wouldn’t do this actually, & would prefer CB, but I don’t love Gladney here & Swift would be gross in KC. Just for fun, OK?
