According to a statement released by Vancouver Police Department, Inderdeep Singh Gosal, 32, has been charged with second-degree murder following a stabbing outside a downtown Vancouver Starbucks on Sunday evening. Paul Stanley Schmidt, 37, has been identified as the victim.

Further details: 37-year-old Paul Stanley Schmidt died of his injuries in hospital. It’s not believed he knew the suspect, 32-year-old Inderdeep Singh Gosal.
