1. The foundation of Harimandir Sahib was laid by Guru Arjan Dev ji himself - this is what the original Sikh historical sources tell us - refer to sources given below - [1] [2] [3] [4]
The story of Mian Mir laying the foundation is NOT true and...
2. ....it was fabricated three centuries later by a British - E. Nicholl (Secretary, Municipal Committee, Amritsar)
This Mian Mir story is not supported by any original Sikh sources or persian sources and not even the biographers of Mian Mir mentions it [5] ....

Do not accept the theory of "Intelligence failure" just because media uses it loosely in their reporting incase of any terror attack in India. Our intelligence agencies have averted many attacks in last 1 month. We enjoyed 15 Aug 2021 because of intelligence success. 1/n
Let us look at the events of last couple of weeks.

31st July : Jaish chief Masood Azhar's nephew killed in J&K's Awantipora encounter, was involved in Pulwama attack
3rd Aug : 1 terrorist killed in the ongoing encounter at #Bandipora . The terrorist was a resident of Ugada district of Punjab in Pakistan and his body was retrieved from the site of the encounter. 1 AK-rifle, 2 AK magazines, 40 AK rounds, wireless set & a medicine bag recovered

1/8 Unless you are the luckiest man in the world you will find it impossible to get a good kulcha outside of Amritsar.

There is a reason for that. At most restaurants, there is just one tandoor and everything goes into that.
2/8 But you can’t cook a good kulcha in a hot tandoor like you can cook a naan or a tandoori roti. A kulcha needs its own special tandoor kept at a gentle temperature.
3/8 Only in Punjab are there so many restaurants dedicated to kulchas which have tandoors kept at perfect kulcha temperatures. The cook will roll out the dough in layers, smearing each layer with a coating of ghee.

#Amritsar #Punjab हादसे में

2. People were watching the Ravana burning from the tracks which are on a height to get a better view.
3. The jora phatak or twin railway crossing is about 400 feet away from the spot where people were standing on the tracks to watch Dussehra.
4. The railway crossing gates were closed and the crossing was manned.
5. Dussehra celebrations were NOT held at this spot last year.
6. The event was organised by Saurabh Mithu Madaan, the son of a Congress municipal corporator. Mithu Madaan is of the Navjot Singh Sidhu group in the Amritsar Municipal Corporation.

This is failure of Punjab Police. Whenever there is a gathering of people they have to get permission from the local police.

In salem to organise a street corner meeting, we have to get permission from police. Police have designated places for public gatherings
Salem police refused to give us permission to hold a street corner meeting because service road was near the meeting spot , such being the case how did #Amritsar police give permission for such a huge gathering on the railway track ?. 100% Punjab Police failure.
Punjab Police shouldn't have permitted this event so close to railway track
People have no business to stand on the railway track .
Organisers should be arrested
Police officials concerned should be arrested
