Tell them that I watched 6 locations burn from the border and 100s arrive, completely destitute, begging for food, shelter, & clothing
Tell them they were in tears
Tell them that I spoke to villagers today from Rathedaung who said the Army and local Rakhine told villagers to leave and go to Bangladesh
They said the next day, the military surrounded the village on 3 sides & began firing on people. No one is sure how many people were killed
They said family members are missing
They spent 7 days trying to get to Bangladesh. Now they're here with nowhere to go and no country to call home
Tell them this is a crisis of the highest order and it's just beginning."
