Homes, infrastructure and healthcare facilities across #Kherson were destroyed and pharmacies looted. A majority of patients we see are older persons who for a long time didn’t have access to the medicines they needed for conditions such as diabetes or hypertension

🇸🇾No noroeste da #Síria , há uma grande necessidade de serviços de saúde sexual e reprodutiva. As necessidades humanitárias e de saúde estão crescendo enquanto o frágil sistema de saúde continua a enfrentar desafios estruturais, e o financiamento continua a encolher ano após ano.
🛑Como o restante da população, as mulheres na #Síria são diretamente afetadas pelas más condições de vida e pela insegurança alimentar. Muitas lutam para ter acesso à saúde devido à insegurança, à distância até as instalações de saúde e ao custo dos serviços e/ou do transporte.
⚠️Ao longo de 2021, #MSF viu várias instalações e projetos de saúde reduzirem suas atividades ou fecharem após perderem seus fundos. Isto afetou a disponibilidade de serviços de saúde sexual e reprodutiva essenciais para meninas e adolescentes, gestantes e seus recém-nascidos.

Improvised explosive devices are littered across the city and surrounding neighbourhoods. In the first week of 2018, our teams in #Syria treated 33 patients with blast injuries from Raqqa. 13 of the 33 patients MSF treated were children. 
Since the active conflict subsided in Raqqa on October 17th 2017, our teams have received 271 people with blast Injuries, 64 were already dead or dying on arrival at our clinic doors.
