1. Today many were rightfully disappointment at #WomensConvention pick of Sanders to speak. So, I wanted to share @theAWParty intro video.
2. We're a direct action advocacy group galvanizing women & marginalized groups in the Democratic party, making sure their voices are heard.
3. Our first initiative was #VoterEmpowermentDay a day to kick off awareness of #VoterSuppression tactics by Kobach
4. A large part of our focus is #VotingRights and stopping #VotingSuppression

1/I’ve met Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton; both of them continuously demonstrate a deep sense of responsibility for those living in the US through public service (the polar opposite of Trump). So why doesn’t the media not know how to cover them? Bias and Intent Vs. Impact.
2/In the 2016 election coverage the media attempted a 'both sides' approach. The 'intent' was an attempt at equal coverage (Trump's Hollywood access, Hillary's emails), the impact as we’ve seen has been disastrous in regard to public policy that took a backseat to simple slogans.
3/The media, still predominately run by men, continue to stumble when attempting to cover accomplished, brilliant, powerful, successful women offering solid policy solutions to very complex problems.

1/First, I am very grateful for an independent media and I have the highest regard for fact-based journalism. That being said, going into 2019, can the media please not have tunnel vision regarding the Presidential election? I have just a few suggestions:
2/Journalists, please remember we're a diverse country and many of us really want to see that reflected in our leadership. Please remember that many of us are desperate for representation. When y'all only focus on Caucasian males as serious contenders it exhausts us.
3/Yes, we'll have the most diverse Congress we've ever had but since 3/4/1789 when Congress first convened approx. 12,249 individuals served of those only 153 African-Americans in total have served since 1870 or a dismal 1.25% Congressional representation. 1.2% folks. A total of 153 African Americans have served in the United States Congress, mostly in the United States House of Representatives. This includes six non-voting members of the House of Representatives who have represented the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In addition, John Willis Menard was elected to the House of Representatives in 1868, and P. B. S. Pinchback was elected both to the House of Repre

1. This is a love letter 💌 to all of those who are currently in the service industry.

Last night, a Wall Street guy was drinking at an NYC bar where my husband @BobbyCrace was working. The Wall Street guy didn’t tip him.
2. A man sitting next to The Wall Street bro noticed said to him “You forgot to tip the bartender.” To which the Wall Street bro responded:

“No I didn’t. It will be better for him if I don’t.”
3. An indication that if Bobby were tipped, it would be looked at as a “handout“ and he wouldn’t be motivated to “work on his life”.
