2/ If Dowd wrote a tweet to be released via Trump's Twitter account, he was simply authoring a press release to the public using his client's feed as a medium. Can an attorney—if Mueller comes knocking—refuse to answer whether he authored a press release on behalf of his client?
3/ My point: Bob Mueller should contact John Dowd and ask simply whether he wrote that tweet.
(If Dowd says "no," Mueller probably can't get anything more than that.)
