I know my limitations HR 😉.
I'm very engaged behind the scenes.
I'm a member of the support systems for several DEM candidates.
I question candidates & potential candidates to see if they're up to the task.
To see if they have thought through what they're going up against.

2/I fear that there's a lot of "sloganeering" going on out there (just look at Trump);
To get elected & govern require strategies!
Strategies mean work. Execution!
It's easy to say "Single Payer"/"Money Out Of Politics"; but to achieve them is extremely difficult.

3/Educating the masses to accept a totally regulated Healthcare Sector from Insurance to Care is not an easy goal to accomplish.
That's exactly why we went the route we did with the ACA which is a mix of Regulations & Free Market.
The interests of Free Market Actors were strong.

4/With that approach, we were able to insure 22 million & believe it or not started to bring the costs of healthcare & coverage down. You wouldn't know this by the LIES told by GOP/Trump. The increases they talked about were generated by their actions to undercut the ACA.

5/The ACA also suffered from lack of Progressive/DEM support from the moment it was signed into law because it didn't rise to the level many Progressives/DEMs felt it should (No public option/Not Universal).
Rather than support & improve it over time. they helped damage it.

6/So their actions played right into the hands of the profiteers & those wanting a completely de-regulated Healthcare Sector.
If we didn't have the complaints that we had from DEMs/Progressives, the ACA would be enjoying huge popularity & would be providing insurance to millions.

7/And keep in mind that the 2016 DEM platform had a call to add a Public Option to the ACA had Clinton won & DEMs were able to sell it to the people & Congress whether DEM or GOP.
But the damage done to the image of the ACA allowed the GOP to seize on it with LIES.

8/So when I hear folks throwing around these slogans like "Universal Healthcare", "Free College", "Money Out Of Politics", & I never hear them talk about, 'What it will take to achieve them' & 'how they will achieve them', it frightens me.

9/Because right now we're looking at a GOP Congress & Trump stack our courts, which will affect our lives for decades to come. All due because of our infighting, recalcitrance, & unwillingness to work together & accept a candidate who may not be our 1st choice.

10/Many of us are working overtime behind the scenes to get DEMs out voting in massive numbers in all elections forever.
We know we're going up against stiff GOP competition & quite frankly, competition from DEMs.
We refuse to waste this opportunity!
Knocking on doors isn't easy

11/Sorry to go on about this but justed don't want any1 seeking office to be dissuaded by my questioning.
My & the DEM Party priority is to get massive turnouts & win as we have been lately.
We can argue about "what is" or "what isn't" when we're in charge!
