I'm glad The Washington Post is keeping tabs on how often Trump lies and what he lies about, but this article undercounts the lies in his recent NYT interview and incorrectly explains several of them. Still, it's worth reading. washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/f…
2/ Case-in-point: Trump's lie about Manafort was *not* merely about whether Manafort was important to the campaign as its Campaign Manager (spoiler: yes), but also about the duration of his work. It was 6 months in an official capacity and over a year total as an unpaid adviser.
3/ Trump *also* lied about how long he's known Paul Manafort and about the period of time covered by Manafort's indictment. So what The Washington Post counted as a single lie about Manafort (and then incorrectly explained) was in fact *four* lies.

We *have* to get this right.
