The Mueller indictment listed eight marches promoted by Internet Research Agency, but didnt report attendance, which was zero or negligible for all events during election campaign. Thread on evidence on attendance.
/ first two events: March for Trump, Jun 25, 2016 (NYC); Down with Hillary, Jul 23, 2016 (NYC). NY Post nypost.com/2018/02/16/rus… … reported that "unclear ..if [rallies] held at all". Could not locate "written or photo evidence".
/ next event was "Support Hillary, Save American Muslims" scheduled for July 9, 2016 at White House. It was promoted by United Muslims of America (FB). I looked for any contemporary evidence, photos of supposed march and, as with NY marches, couldn't find any.
/ Russian accounts promoted Florida Goes Trump rallies on Aug 20, 2016 in multiple Florida cities. Bellingcat did good survey of contemporary evidence for these rallies in Sept 2017, showing that they were paltry bellingcat.com/news/americas/…
/ Bellingcat located contemporary video showing that there were eight Trump supporters at Pensacola "rally"
/ Bellingcat located another contemporary video showing that there were also eight supporters (plus child, dog and camera operator) at Fort Myers "rally"
/ Bellingcat located a picture of a larger rally in Spring Hill, this one consisting of 15 Trump supporters
/ while I disagree with Bellingcat on many things (and Eliot Higgins accordingly blocks me on twitter), their following conclusion seems unarguable": that the turnouts were "quite small, and there was little impact felt outside of a very small circle of social media posts".
/ next, the supposed Miners For Trump rally on Oct 2, 2016 in Philly, Erie, Pittsburgh, Scranton, Harrisburg, Allentown. An article in Philadelphia Inquirer entitled "The crazy fake Russian 'Miners for Trump' rally in Philly" archive.is/Nq5pK says that none took place
/ after election, they promoted "Trump is not my President" march in New York on Nov 12, 2016, which attracted 10,000. (Question: was this march promoted by others besides Russians or just Russians?)
pbs.org/newshour/polit…

/ last one mentioned was "Charlotte against Trump" march on Nov 19, 2016. This attracted about 100 people charlotteobserver.com/news/local/art…
/ sitting in Canada, seems to me that US should not feel overwhelmed by the paltry Florida rallies and non-existent other rallies, even if organized by Russia. Seems a lot less intrusive than US' own intrusion into Canadian and many other countries. Little to show for Mueller
/ now a quick look at Mueller charges relating to fake or semi-fake marches. For New York in June July, FB ads, an email with press release and a seemingly aborted order for a megaphone.
/ allegations about unattended NYC marches in June -July repeated in paragraph 54
a/ multiple allegations about paltry Florida rallies: paragraph 55
b/ then multiple lengthy paragraphs 71-80 about "overt acts" carried out in pursuit of these paltry Florida rallies (see Mueller indictment, only 71-72 shown here)
/ from comments at @MoonofA: pre-Mueller (Nov 16-Feb 17) articles on east European click-bait sites. More pro-Trump stories simply because they got more clicks
