1/ On January 5, 2016, new Trump attorney Joe DiGenova threatened AG Loretta Lynch over the Clinton probe, saying the FBI would "revolt" against the DOJ if it didn't prosecute Clinton. DiGenova said that the revolt against the AG would be "massive." mediamatters.org/research/2016/…
2/ Specifically, DiGenova said in January 2016 that agents within the FBI were "in the process of girding themselves to basically revolt against" Lynch if she exercised her legal authority to decide whether or not to prosecute Clinton. The threat implied illegal leaks and more.
3/ That same month, Joe DiGenova's stepson tried to interfere in the Democratic primary—and to destroy Bernie Sanders' candidacy—by filing a federal complaint against Jane Sanders alleging she'd committed crimes. It now seems his stepdad had a similar plan for Clinton and Comey.
4/ After DiGenova and his wife and law partner Victoria Toensing did all they could to aid the impeachment of Bill Clinton in the 1990s, Toensing kept up her crusade against the Clintons by being one of the primary perpetrators of the fake (and now-debunked) "Uranium One" canard.
5/ DiGenova's January 2016 statements made clear that he was in contact with *current* FBI agents connected to the Clinton investigation—which meant, since he was not representing them as an attorney at the time, they were illegally leaking to him about an ongoing investigation.
6/ Moreover, the current FBI agents working the Clinton case who were illegally leaking to Trump's new attorney Joe DiGenova in January 2016 were clearly doing so for a partisan purpose—as they were watching their leaks end up (via DiGenova) on Fox News and in conservative media.
7/ So when Comey announced that no charges would be brought, and DiGenova said, "As a result of what Comey did today, this will never die," it was a clear threat—a threat to leverage the leaking, pro-Trump FBI agents under his thumb for partisan purposes. freebeacon.com/issues/ex-u-s-…
8/ Of course, that was July of 2016—Trump and Clinton were the candidates, and DiGenova wouldn't be helping Trump steal an election by trying to use the FBI agents under his thumb against Clinton *immediately*.

He had to wait three months—to ensure it'd be an "October surprise."
9/ On October 13, 2016, DiGenova used one of his regular appearances on Laura Ingraham's show—Ingraham being a possible future Trump Communications Director—to issue a public call for agents to contact him if they wanted to leak on Comey. But he'd already been in touch with them.
10/ That's why—per The Daily Caller—within *1 day* of new Trump attorney Joe DiGenova issuing his public call to the rogue FBI agents he was already in contact with there was a "transcript" of illegal interviews with those agents available to the media through an "intermediary."
11/ The transcript made its way directly to The Daily Caller—a right-wing pub DiGenova had often been interviewed by.

Coordinated with the piece in which The Daily Caller revealed it had an intermediary to rogue FBI agents was a 26-minute interview with DiGenova on the subject.
12/ In that article and thereafter—as in January 2016—DiGenova made statements to the press (a) claiming to know the thinking of the rogue pro-Trump FBI agents who were illegally leaking to the media for partisan purposes, and (b) knew of high-level FBI meetings before the press.
13/ On October 28, 2016, DiGenova spoke with conservative media about what had happened inside the October 27th FBI meeting at which Comey decided he had to reopen Clinton's case—information DiGenova had *more than 24 hours before* it appeared as a "scoop" in the New York Times.
14/ The New York Times would reveal that Comey reopened the Clinton case because he was afraid of "leaks." Internal emails from McCabe to Comey, FOIAed by—ironically—Judicial Watch, reveal Comey was worried about *FBI* leaks.

Those were the very same leaks DiGenova orchestrated.
15/ Analyses by one of the nation's top polling sites, FiveThirtyEight.com, found Comey's reopening of the Clinton case won the election for Trump. Trump's new lawyer—Joe DiGenova—worked for a *year* to engineer the leaks that forced Comey's hand and gave Trump the election.
CONCLUSION/ Joe DiGenova shouldn't be within a mile of Trump's legal team, as he already represents three Mueller witnesses with testimony hostile to Trump: Corallo, Clovis, Prince. He's also a Mueller witness and possible target himself—as a Trump pre-election conspirator. {end}
