Even saying her name and invoking some just truth can illicit a standing ovation from a crowd.

“One day we will see a woman sitting in that Oval Office and we can thank Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

All rise.

So tell me again...

/1
Please, and while looking me in the eye, tell me that no one likes @HillaryClinton.

Tell me again that Democrats want her to go away.

That she should retire.

That she should shup-up.

I understand that HRC has her haters, but not how they assume that hate is shared by all.

It would be one thing to attempt to beleaguer this dead narrative if this were an isolated incident, but it's not.

Not even close.

It happens all of the time.

Everywhere.

And it has since she first stepped back into the light a year ago.

Spontaneous eruptions.

Love.

And we say this out loud because fairness cannot be the singular purview of men who run for President.

Nor can Justice.
Or reason.
Or Rule of Law.

Nor can we afford to once again carry on the many hypocricies and self-deceptions from our past.

4/
We have a lot of growing up to do as a nation, however, before anything of lasting value can be accomplished.

With maturity comes the realization that self-protection requires self-policing, and only writing those protections into a different looking Constitution can do that.
5/
Before then, however, it is imperative the we confront the demons of racism and misogyny before they confront us instead. Our long national experiment with them must end, if not on a person by person basis, then certainly on national and state level.

6/
How did we get back to a place where we find ourselves engaging questions we thought we'd answered decades ago?

It's not a good look. Repeating history usually ends well for no one.

Who to blame?

Blame the bullies.

/7
What I believe we know without any reasonable doubt is that Donald Trump, his campaign staff, & family were heavily involved in Russian efforts to install Trump as US President at any cost.

One specific cost was to deny the Presidency to @HillaryClinton, whom Putin despised.
8/
Tied into every aspect of this conspiracy was an unparalleled systemic misogyny that functioned seamlessly across borders, language, and even political philosophy.

And all of it aimed at @HillaryClinton and her efforts to become the first female US President in history.

/9
*elicit, apologies this was a spoken word text error.
This is why Marx and, later, the communists were wrong, and always will be. Like money, racism & misogyny, though they might vary in degree & might appear different on the surface, function independently of other forces and can, in fact, override all other opposing forces.

/10
We have watched first hand as the endemic racism and misogyny that featured prominently among many of Trump's most ardent suppirters, were capable of overriding all other concerns, even, contrary to Marx, economics.

/11
This is an undeniable truth, to which must necessarily be added a globalwide systemic homo/trans- phobia.

Most problematic for the forces that oppose white, hetero, male supremacy, however, is that it's systemic roots run so deep it functions at an almost organic level.

/12
It is a sad fact then that money, misogyny, racism, and homophobia are peculiarly universal and feature languages and codes and histories of their own that communicate across borders, nationality and religion.

They are roots of the evil most men (yes, it's mostly men) do.

/13
One day history will advocate for @HillaryClinton in ways we are not able. Hopefully, words like flawed, will at last be extricated from the telling, and thrown into the pile of loaded and sexist terms that have existed within the Clinton lexicon unfairly for too long.

/14
Flawed, in particular, has always been most problematic for me. In applying it to Hillary Clinton so regularly they have made it seem like a unique designation. Clinton is flawed became a notion so prolific that everyone else benefited in comparison.

15/
Trump was many things, but he was never spoken of as flawed. The why of that is ugly and bound to the tortuous history of misogyny.

Women are expected to be perfect and a woman like Clinton must be doubly perfect, an impossibility.

To be flawed means ruin.

/16
We talk in code about gender and race constantly. Hillary Clinton did her level best to change the conversation on both topics away from such practices.

That she did so effectively is part of the reason they used such force to hold her down.
