While I’m not sure about Kelly, the other three were involved in the 2016 election.

2) Lets remember the Wikileaks emails show us the Hillary campaign wanted to ensure the “pied piper” candidates took the lead. She wanted to coast (so she thought) in November.

3) In the fall of 2015 we know Chalupa was “investigating” Manafort for the DNC. Fall 2015 y’all...

4) In March 2016 after Rubio loses Super Tuesday he drops out. Now, all the major GOP establishments picks are gone.
Sometime around this point, Ed Cox is involved in hiring Paul Manafort to be in charge of the 2016 RNC convention.

5) During this same time period Romney and McCain are loudly proclaiming that a brokered convention is our (GOP) last shot at stopping Trump.
Cruz and Kasich remain in the race to make that a distant possibility.

6) Brokered convention?! Oh no! Those crazy Ron Paulers had called for that and we changed the rules to make that harder! 😂 🤦‍♀️
At the same time, someone encourages Trump to hire Manafort because he has experience in rounding up delegates (40 years ago!!!) 🙄

7) Those current indictments against Manafort, who else have they snagged in that mess? Oh yeah - that most powerful lobbying firm that shuttered its doors - The Podesta Group...

8) Kasich only won his home state and that was long after he had eliminated ANY shot of being POTUS. Many of us in the GOP knew he remained in the race simply to split the vote.

Stone & Manafort pumped Trump, Black & Podesta pumped Kasich.

Why?

First: get @CLewandowski_ out of the way.

Second: convince Trump he will be most useful to him.

Correction I can’t find the article I remembered about Cox and the convention but he was definitely involved in the buttering up the knife
