Not an issue. India's population and human resources are 150%+ of Europe. EU has 24 official languages, all are used for Higher Ed. India can easily support 22.
Not at all. People can always learn languages for employment, do all over the world. Learning a language is different from changing the medium of education.
What edge? India lags behind in every area, including IT. India is "proud" of a few call center jobs, China is racing ahead in Artificial Intelligence, manufacturing, high-tech, has its own search engine, social media.
